Founded in 1998, Gymea Pharmacy began as a small community pharmacy with a simple mission: to provide genuine, patient‑centred care to the people of Gymea and the surrounding suburbs.

 

Over the years, our values have remained constant - holistic support, personalised service, and a commitment to walking alongside our customers through every stage of their health journey. For 22 years, we proudly served two aged‑care facilities.

When both facilities closed due to COVID in 2022, we embraced a new chapter. Rather than losing our purpose, we evolved it. Today, Gymea Pharmacy focuses strongly on independent living, supporting the elderly who remain in their homes and community. We continue to provide medication packing services to customers for a variety of reasons including school, holiday, special needs, aged care, and more. This ensures safety, routine, and peace of mind.

To meet the changing needs of modern healthcare, we’ve invested in digital transformation. Our pharmacy now operates with the latest dispensing systems, streamlined workflows, and enhanced digital services. We offer a private consulting room, vaccinations, and a growing suite of professional clinical services — all designed to support our customers with the highest standard of care.

As we move forward, we’re excited to welcome two new pharmacists to our team. Smart, motivated, and passionate about community health, they bring fresh energy, strong clinical knowledge, and a genuine desire to assist. Their arrival marks the next step in our journey — blending experience with new talent to continue delivering the care our community deserves.
